The full patch notes for PC's Crysis Remastered 2.1.2 update are available below. That said, future patches could increase the performance of this new game mode, and DLSS should reduce the GPU overhead caused by this option on Nvidia RTX series graphics cards. With Crysis Remastered's new Ray tracing update being labelled as "Experimental", this new graphics option will likely be too taxing for most PC gamers. Crysis Remastered's ray tracing performance has also been optimised for 4K resolutions, and Crytek has optimised the memory footprint of Crysis Remastered when in "RTX mode". Update 2.1.2 also re-enables Motion Blur within Crysis Remastered, an option that was disabled in patch 2.1.1 due to a bug that made the effect more intense than intended. This setting can only be activated when ray tracing is enabled within Crysis Remastered, for obvious reasons. This alteration brings the game's ray-traced visuals to the next level, allowing for proper reflections on rough surfaces and a 5% specular reflectance to all surfaces by default. Crysis Remastered's update 2.1.2 has been released to PC gamers, offering PC players an experimental ray tracing mode that brings RT reflections to almost all surfaces within the game.
